Previous : So Was It A Tech Crash?
Okay, so we know that it isn't just a dot COM crash, but maybe it could just be another oft used term: A "Tech crash" (despite lots of established techs ending the 15 months pretty much where they started). Maybe it's just technology in general that was oversold and hasn't lived up to its potential. Whoa, that almost looks like the .COM or tech crash that we've been hearing about lately! As an example here's CNet (Nasdaq: CNET) for your comparison pleasure. Scroll up and scroll down and compare. While the percentage drop below the genetics seems to indicate that they weren't pummeled as hard, it's important to notice that the "genetics fad" took off in late February/early March, a little later than the .COM fad.
